Get ready for an unforgettable #1LISD journey at Convocation, “Power of the Past, Force of the Future!”

Leander ISD teachers and staff are invited to celebrate our rich history while launching ourselves into a bright and innovative future. We are thrilled to host Convocation in person for the entire district! The event will take place on Thursday, Aug. 8, at Shoreline Church during two sessions divided by feeder patterns at 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

We want to honor your hard work and commitment to empower learners through a Convocation you won’t forget. Arrive to food truck trailers and vendors and take a seat to witness phenomenal student performances and celebrate LEEF’s grant award winners. Festivities lead up to a keynote address from bestselling author and speaker A.J. Juliani. Don’t miss this chance to kickoff the school year with big energy, “to help students prepare themselves for anything.”

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• We are still working through transportation requests, so be sure to check with your campus principal about traveling to the venue together.
• Bring your school pride and wear your campus T-shirts.
• Attendees will also receive a commemorative Convocation T-shirt.
